Smallville is an American television series developed by writers/producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. It is based on the DC Comics character Superman, originally created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The television series was initially broadcast by The WB Television Network, and premied on October 16, 2001.

It is in this period that puts the popular television series Smallville, which re-imagined the story of the most illustrious son of Krypton.
A meteor shower in Smallville, Kansas, leaves behind a future superhero in a form of a young boy who is taken in by Jonathan (John Schneider) and Martha (Annette O'Toole) Kent. As his extraordinary powers emerge, Clark faces the difficulties of high school and the change of destinations in relationships. Among theses relationships there are some to be taken in consideration. His first love, Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), the story between him and Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) that began in friendship and end in HATE, and last but not least at all his everlasting friendship with Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack).
